Nothing is Bad. It’s just our Perception!

It was summertime and my forgetful nature often leads me to miss keeping leftover milk in the fridge. The other day, I found milk to have got spoilt. Many times, I have simply poured spoilt milk on plants or into mother earth thru the sink may be either due to disinterest in doing anything resourceful out of waste, or just sheer laziness. A nudge from my son in want of Chhena out of the milk waste made me try it for him and out came this takeaway that nothing is a waste at all! It’s all to do with interest and indulgence to come up with something creative. Even though milk was spoilt and I was unable to use the same for tea or coffee beverages, on boiling the same milk for a longer period, under the heat pressure, it so beautifully separated into two components – the thickened version of milk that settled at the bottom of the vessel and the water liquid separated from the concentrated milk floating atop, clearly demarcating the essential and the non-useful which when filtered further, turns into Chhena or Paneer (depending on the process adopted).

So given a chance along with proper technique, the good – the resourceful – the giveaway component in every bad surfaces. All it requires is a sufficient amount of churning.

Nothing is a waste, nothing is deemed misfit or bad until we perceive it that way. Mostly, it’s circumstances or situations that lead to this deformed nature which can be altered/ corrected and rejoiced. It all boils down to self-will, interest, and perception that changes our understanding once and for all!
